He strives to combine his fascination with anatomy, art history and technique to produce work in a variety of disciplines including drawing, watercolor, painting and sculpture. Robert Liberace’s work is inspired by centuries of knowledge and skill exemplified by the great masters. I am especially interested in the Renaissance ideal that the human figure is “the measure of all things” and I have dedicated myself to discover its potential in capturing the spiritual and emotional complexity of the human spirit. The physical energy and dynamic rhythms of Renaissance and Baroque art has been a tremendous influence on my work from the start.
